Amazing flavors with heart
Our mission is to provide high quality cupcakes in unique flavors.
At least that's how we started. Now it's that plus giving back to the community. We want to keep giving at the heart of our business so we do numerous surprise and delight deliveries throughout the year.
Our pricing is a little different too. The price you see there isn't set in stone, it's a suggestion. You can pay more or you can pay less. The price we list roughly covers the cost of ingredients and electricity so please keep that in mind. We work hard to bring you delicious and unique flavors but leave it up to you to decide what the end result is worth.
Christmas 2016 we used the extra money from our orders to buy donations for the local food pantry.
How It All Started
Once upon a time on New Year's Eve
Once upon a time on New Year's Eve, my husband and I were invited to his parents to celebrate but we wanted to bring a dish to pass. I had been on a Food Network binge... specifically Cupcake Wars and got in my head that it wouldn't be hard to make cupcakes from scratch. But of course I didn't start with a vanilla or chocolate... oh no... my first from scratch cupcake was Champagne.
So we brought the cupcakes and our now soon-to-be brother-in-law ate almost the whole tray himself! The cupcakes were a success and I decided to continue trying new flavors. Lucky for me I had coworkers who were more than willing to be guinea pigs. After about 2 years of bringing them to small events and work I decided to take a leap... I wanted to bring them to the Polka Dot Party.
Quick info on this Polka Dot Party: It's an amazing event used to celebrate life and double as a fundraiser for Project Angel Hugs, an amazing organization brightening the lives of kids with cancer all around the world.
Well I did that and things just took off! The cupcakes were flying off the table and I've done it every year since with the help of my sisters. Thanks to the Polka Dot Party for giving Pinkie Cakes the visibility, business is doing great!
